Last month the Millennial Esports Arena held a $50,000 Halo tournament for their grand opening which was a major success and a huge boost of optimism for Las Vegas Esports fans interested in the Neonopolis area. March 30 2017 Neonopolis took its next step towards appeasing the gamer and esports community by welcoming the opening of The Nerd Nightclub, presided by mayor Carolyn Goodman.

As VitalVegas.com points out The Nerd Nightclub features nerdy decoration around the club including this Breaking Bad display.
There are pool tables and a 12 lane bowling alley inside the club, as well as retro video games for club attendees to play. The Club is certainly attempting to stay true to their name and the overall idea seems to fit well with the esports direction of Neonopolis.
Now that Neonopolis has the Millennial Esports Arena, The Nerd Nightclub, and The Downtown Underground, this slice of the downtown area is looking more and more like the ideal nightlife experience for the gamer and the esports enthusiast.

As Governor Brian Sandoval pushes Las Vegas closer and closer to his vision of being the esports capital of the world, esports fans are going to be bombarded with venues and events to get excited about as Las Vegas is transformed into the Gamer Mecca.
